Steven Rindner

Steven Rindner is a Partner & Head of Client Investments and Advisory at MSA. In this role, Steven leads client-related investments and the development, execution, and ongoing oversight of advisory opportunities and incubations and related investments.  As a member of the leadership team, Steven is also actively involved in direct investment activities across the MSA platform, including underwriting and ongoing oversight, firm strategy, and the development of the team.

Prior to joining MSA in 2016, Steven worked with NYC-based Pilot Group, a VC and private equity firm focused on investing in and developing digital media and direct-to-consumer companies. Among other responsibilities at Pilot Group, he led corporate development and served as the general counsel for one of its portfolio companies. Previously, Steven was a Senior Vice President at Citigroup, where he developed and negotiated partnerships to create new revenue streams and bring innovation to the payments space. He also held the position of Senior Vice President at AOL Time Warner, where he developed and executed on strategies for content, website functionality, advertising, marketing, and subscriber acquisition. Earlier in his career, Steven was a corporate attorney at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson and at Sherman & Sterling, and served as an Assistant United States Attorney for the District of Columbia.

Steven currently holds advisor and board roles including: Board Observer for Mendocino Farms, Board Observer for Supergoop!, Board Member for Wolf Games, and Advisor for Complex NTWRK. He was a Board Observer for Kate Farms prior to its sale to Danone in 2025.
