Jose Tamez

Jose Tamez is a Performance Reporting Controller at MSA. In this role, he is responsible for performance reporting processes, data reconciliation, and analytics.

Prior to joining Main Street Advisors in 2024, Jose was a Manager at Stanford Management Company, where he oversaw performance reporting, fund administration, and cash management for Stanford’s $40+ billion endowment. Over his five-year tenure, he played a key role in redesigning reconciliation processes, enhancing reporting accuracy between custodial records and internal systems, and delivering performance reports to investment leadership.

Previously, Jose was an Associate at Citco within the hedge fund services team and a Fund Administration Associate at SS&C Technologies. He began his career in financial reporting and corporate finance through internships at IBM, Booz Allen Hamilton, Tesla, and Duff & Phelps during his undergraduate studies.

He received his B.B.A. in Accounting from St. Mary’s University.
